The primary activity of the company MATIC ENGINEERING is the design and manufacture of automatic plants for surface protection in the metal, wood and polymer industry. Depending on the workpiece, the protective surface layer is applied in the form of liquid or dry (powder) coatings. Part of our service is assembly and commissioning, with complete accompanying documentation and training of the staff of that automatic plant.

MATIC ENGINEERING was founded by Mr. Prvoslav Matić, B.Sc. mechanical engineer, in Kragujevac in 2000, with the aim of separating from the competition and establishing a significant market presence through quality operations and unique technological solutions.

The ambitious beginning created the company's primary values and roots in conquering technology and technical solutions available on the market. The experience of the initial projects directed and led to the rapid rise and development of the company.

With these successful results, we attracted the interest of many companies in our industry and enabled cooperation with them. We have been the official distributor of the industrial program of the company J. WAGNER GmbH (Markdorf – Germany) since 2005, and through a number of years of cooperation we have successfully integrated and implemented the technology of painting and application of all types of protective layers within our facilities. In cooperation with the leading company, we are gradually expanding our operations outside the domestic market to neighboring countries: Croatia, North Macedonia, Greece, Slovenia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro, Bulgaria, Romania and the Czech Republic. A series of successful projects and customer satisfaction entrenches our reputation and quality for gaining knowledge of new markets. Since 2015, in cooperation with the domestic military industry Jugoimport SDPR J.P. we continue to conquer markets such as the Russian Federation, Bangladesh, Azerbaijan and Algeria. Positive experiences and acquaintances of all new markets made unforgettable moments that founded the ambition to create and build a strong family company as well as a brand for future generations.

The rise of business made it possible to expand and improve production capacities, in 2014 a new production facility was opened from the company's home location, 6 km away in Poskurice near Kragujevac. According to production needs in 2016, we are equipping a dedicated paint shop and polymerization oven for electrostatic powder coating. Since 2018, the original production location has been consolidating the company's production process with the acquisition of a folding press, shears and a sheet metal processing machine.

With increasing needs and more complex requirements, we have integrated since 2008 a number of equipment suppliers that have expanded our capabilities and technological innovations. Family companies of automatic transport systems “KEWESTA" GmbH (Germany) and “CALDAN" GmbH (Denmark) have enabled complex movement and manipulation of workpieces in all directions, directions and non-adaptive workspaces. Suppliers of process equipment components FESTO, WEISHAUPT, SCHIENDEL, SIEMENS, VEOLIA, EUROHEAT, ELPIS, IGMAR, SAPI, RÖSLER, ABB etc…. they provided incredible support and implementation of all the new technological innovations that were available in the market, where our success is a joint victory of winning the market with renowned brands.

In order to expand awareness and knowledge about the technical capabilities of WAGNER GmbH devices in 2020, we opened a technical demonstration center for the technology of painting and applying protective layers of all types of liquid and powder paints.

The various ups and downs of the start-up business have paved the way for a stable and rooted business model with a positive outcome of continuous growth and progress. The company MATIC ENGINEERING designed its own goal and mission to build efficient and multi-functional plants with its products that can be widely used in the technology of applying protective layers in all branches of industry. The network of realized projects will bring us closer to the realization of the vision of global reduction of environmental pollution and improvement of energy efficiency in surface protection activities. Small steps and big ambitions enabled an influential factor in the market of process equipment for surface protection to project the direction for many more years of business.
